Lillie Maie Rains, 99, died December 2, 2011.
She was the widow of Rev. E. B. Rains, a United Methodist Minister of the Memphis Conference. With Rev. Rains they served over 60 churches in West TN, West KY and were camp counselors with Lakeshore United Methodist Assembly.
She was also preceded in death by parents Eddie and Willie Hamby; brother Warren Hamby, sisters, Pauline Cole, Willie Belle Casey, Annie Lee Hiltenbrand, daughters Billye Smith and Sue Hansen
Mrs. Rains is survived by daughter, Frances Blincoe, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, a sister Cardelia Griffith Wright, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-7 pm on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Roller Family, Funeral Home (3651 Austin Peay Hwy) with a 1 pm service Saturday, December 10 at Ellendale Methodist Church (7217 Centralia Rd),
Burial will follow at Macedonia Church Cemetery (11508 Macedonia Rd, Arlington, TN).
Family request memorials go to Lakeshore United Methodist Assembly (1458 Pilot Knob Rd, Eva, TN 338333), or Ellendale Methodist Church (PO Box 85, Ellendale, TN 38029).

I loved going to Annual Conference every year to see Mrs. Raines! A part of my childhood is now gone.
