Mr. Herman "Ray" Gessner, 87, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1938 in Fairfax County, Virginia to Joseph and Gladys (Bayless) Gessner. He was married to Shirley (Cox) Gessner for 39 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp., retired from the Army National Guard #224 and was a retired auto mechanic. He was a CB enthusiast (the Virginian), a NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching westerns.
Ray is survived by his wife; four children, Mike Gessner, Steve Gessner, Jennifer Partee (Rudy) and Lisa Sanders (Lee); 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and two sisters, Katherine and Velma; He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Troy Gessner and Gary "Bub" Howe; two grandchildren, Brad and Luke and one sister, Joanne.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home.
