Carol Jean (Masterson) Colvin, 83, of Lamar, Arkansas was born September 9, 1941 in Piney, Arkansas to Walter and Esther (Wilson) Masterson. She passed away April 25, 2025 in Clarksville, Arkansas at Johnson County Health and Rehab.

She dedicated 34 years to the records department at the Clarksville Hospital. She spent her retirement years reading, antique shopping, vacationing in Eureka Springs, taking the grandkids and great grandkids out to lunch and watching westerns with her loving spouse of 63 years, S.D. Colvin.

She is preceded in death by her husband, S.D. Colvin; her parents, Walter and Esther Masterson; her sister, Shirley McClellan and her brother; James Masterson.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Cole and husband, Kirwin and Tauna Colvin; her grandson, Aaron Cole and wife, Carrie Sue; two granddaughters, Audrey (King) Schmutzler and husband, Kyle, Autumn (King) Hunstable and husband, Jared; six great grandchildren, Andrew Cole, Marley Cole, Lydia Schmutzler, Anna Schmutzler, Karter Hunstable and Kirklynn Hunstable.

A graveside service will be held for close family and friends on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Holman Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas.

The family would like to thank ALL the staff at Johnson County Health and Rehab and her Tribute Nurse, Nancy Sierra, for the wonderful care our mamaw received the past few years.
