Una Shirlene Reves, age 82 of Tilly, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 at her home. She was born in Snowball, Arkansas on December 14th, 1942 to Ted Horton and Bethel Honeycutt Horton.
Shirlene obtained her GED in 1980 and retired from Riverside Furniture in Russellville. She was an adventurous go-go girl. She traveled far and wide and was always ready to go.
She was a very talented cook and gardener. She won many first-place ribbons for her photography skills and her flowers. Shirlene loved to dance and enjoyed hosting parties. She passed her love for square dancing and clogging on to her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her lively spirit will be greatly missed by those closest to her.
Survivors include her children, Steve Reves (Sandy) of Russellville, Kirk Reves (Imajean) of Tilly and Kenny Reves of London; grandchildren, Jim Reves, Duston Bradley, Marion Pearson, Erica Storment, Brittany Rotenbury, Jimmy Flagg, Crystal Reves, Chelsey Duran, Shaina Reves, Cody Reves, Sharlotte Reves, Luke Reves, Laura Reves, Lee Reves, Lane Reves and Cheyenne Reves; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Janive Gray and Lorain Turney.
Shirlene is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Bethel Horton; her husband, James Roger Reves who passed away in 2019; one son, Jim Reves; granddaughter, Crystle Trevino Reves; siblings, John T. Horton, Paul Ray Horton, Jack Horton, Isa Lee Hensley and Kathy McEntire; and two daughters-in-law, June Reves and Sandra Reves.
Funeral services for Shirlene will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Larry Don Smith and Bro. Shane Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Friday, April 25th, 2025 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Marsena, where Shirlene will be laid to rest beside her husband, Roger. Bearers will be Jim Reves, Cody Reves, Lane Reves, Luke Reves, Duston Bradley and Jimmy Flagg. Honorary bearers will be Chris Duran, Rusty Rotenbury, Sam Storment, Jamie Pearson and Lee Reves.
