Carol Sue Clark, 80, of Mountain View, Arkansas, was called away to meet her Lord and Savior on April 22, 2025. She was born December 8, 1944 to the late Thomas and Virginia (Austill) McGee in Lawrence, Kansas.
Carol Sue's best friend, soul mate and life partner of 15 years, Andy Dorris, shared an adventurous spirit. They loved spending time together, traveling, visiting flea markets, and dancing. Carol Sue had a selfless nature always putting others before herself; she never met a stranger. She delighted in visiting friends and family as often as possible. Carol Sue worked several years as a cook at Mel's Diner and as a director at the Mountain View Senior Center for 10 years.
Carol Sue is survived by her faithful companion, Andy Dorris; son, Don (Rita) Roper; daughter Jenell Passmore; grandchildren, Justin (Bailey) Roper, Rachel Roper, Makayla Passmore; great grandson, Beau Roper; brother, Mike McGee; sister, Roma (Jim) Tesch; and a multitude of extended family and friends. Carol Sue will be missed by all that knew her.
Carol Sue was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Shirl Don Roper.
Visitation will be held at Pordue Cemetery, Saturday, April 26, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM. Graveside Service will follow at 11:00AM at the Pordue Cemetery. Brother Junior Barham will be officiating.
Pallbearers are Chad Holloway, Wade Roper, Ward Roper, Rusty Clark, Justin Roper, and Tony Passmore. Honorary Pallbearers are Phil Dearien, Tommy Holloway, and Bill Nixon.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.

We always loved Carol Sue. She was a joy to be around and every time we saw her she had a big smile on her face. She will be not only missed to but will always be remembered as a awesome person.
