I served in the Army.

Ernest PatrickI am a Veteran.

of Conway, AR

January 10, 1942 - April 20, 2025

Ernest "Ernie" Lynn Patrick, 83, of Conway, Arkansas, peacefully passed into his Heavenly home on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. Born on January 10, 1942, Ernie often said his true life began when he met the love of his life, his shining star, Brenda Kay Hunt, in 1962.

A proud United States Army veteran and member of the Army Reserves, Ernie served his country with honor and dedication. A man of many passions, Ernie could always be found working on his jeeps, riding his motorcycle, or enjoying his beloved Elvis music (and sharing his admiration for the King with anyone who would listen). Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family. Ernie was a devoted, loving father, Pawpaw, and Great-Pawpaw who was always present for his loved ones. He was a proud member of Antioch Baptist Church in Conway, AR.

Ernie is preceded in death by his parents, Lennie Delores (Cox) and Bennie Francis Patrick; his wife, Brenda Kay (Hunt) Patrick; his brother, Larry David Patrick; and his grandson, Stephen Craig Patrick. He is survived by his sister, Marie Jordan of Conway; his daughter, Renee Little (Neil); his son, Christopher Patrick; three grandchildren, Kayleigh Smith (Ryan) of Conway, Hunter Little (Nicole) of Maumelle and Maddison Patrick of Texas; and one great-grandchild, Kelley James Smith of Conway.

Visitation will be held at Antioch Baptist Church in Conway, AR, on Wednesday, April 23, at 10:00 AM with a memorial service immediately following at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Renee, while I know you will miss your Daddy terribly, I can't help but think how happy he is to be with your Mom. He was so lost without her. Thankful they are rejoicing with Jesus now.

Dear Family.. Ernie was a good man and friend.. He was one of the hardest working and most loyal folks you will ever meet. I had the pleasure of working alongside Ernie at CHDC. Ernie would always go the extra mile even on the days he didn't feel good. Ernie always had his family and especially Mrs.Brenda on his mind. He was proud of his grandchildren on the soccer field or whatever they were involved with. He just wanted to be a part of their lives and help guide them to be good adults. The last time i spoke with Ernie he talked of missing his love Brenda. I also knew him well enough to know he loved Jesus and knew that the Cross would carry him home someday and Ernie today is at home reunited with his love Jesus and his love Brenda. Ernie made an impact on me and those guys at the CHDC Storeroom.. My prayers are with you all in the days ahead..
