Eddie will be missed, he was one of the most interesting characters I had ever known over my life.
Such a true friend to all he met. I was new to Conway35 years ago. I asked some folks at St Joe. Where is best place to get a car serviced. Without any hesitation the answer was Edd at Walter’s. Mr and Mrs Walter along with Edd never failed to welcome me. Truly a part of who made Conway special. To the family. My deepest respects for your loss.

I so enjoyed the years working with Eddie at Walters Conoco when in college. He was a great guy and I know he will be missed. I was just thinking the other day I should get to Conway to see him again but now I see he has gone to heaven. I loved his collection of cars and motorcycles.
" So...later Eddie, I will see you in heaven. Say hello to Walter for me who left for heaven years ago."
My deepest sympathy in the loss of Edd. I met him in the early 80's at the gas station. He kept me laughing all the time. He was definitely a character. Never be another like him and Martin! Sending prayers for comfort. God Bless.

Donna & Family,
So sorry to hear about our sweet cousin. He was a delight and was one of the most dedicated and hard working people we’ve ever known. He loved his family and also loved bragging on them. He provided a car service at Walter’s long after that was standard procedure. He took such good care of all his customers and they treasured that relationship. He was a source of much fun, laughter and crazy stories for our family. A truly unique and creative character who will be missed. You will be in our prayers in the days ahead. Much love to all of you.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Maggie as fond memories of going to Walter's station with me. Her uncle Eddie always had gum or a soft drink for her.
Donna, so sorry for your loss. We go way back. God bless and keep you.

Sending prayers for the Erbach Family... cherish the memories.
rest in peace my friend
My sincere condolences to the Erbach family. Always enjoyed going to see Edd at Martin's station. A true 'full service' station and he and Martin would keep us in stitches the whole time they did their thing. Honest, hard working and a salt of the earth person. He always made time to talk to us when we'd see him at Petit Jean and my dad and I thought a lot of him. Godspeed Edd and I know you're making the good Lord laugh.
I know this is a great los for you, you befriended my girl when she needed one. You have spent several hours in our home, and was one of our gang sometimes. My thoughts are with and your family during this loss. Mike and I care a lot for you.
My deepest sympathy. He was always such a gentleman and so helpful to us when he was at Walter’s. I know you will miss him terribly.
Amy, lots of memories of your dad over the years. Thinking of you and sending love and support.
Some of my funniest and fondest memories about Edd are from my days at Central Fire Station across from Martin Walter’s Service Station. There were 2 pay phones located on the service station property. Whenever someone stopped to use the phone Edd and Martin would call the other phone claiming to be the firemen. Needless to say we had some interesting visits .We would in turn blame it on the man at the ice house. They would then proceed to visit with him. All the while Edd and Martin were watching innocently. Great times, great memories of Edd and. Martin
Truly good man. Enjoyed him so much when I went in Walter's.
