Edith Mae McAndrews, age 100, passed away at her home April 16, 2025. She was born May 24, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to Louis and Clara (Baten) Jones. Edith is survived by her daughter, Delores Waylett and (Steve) of California, son, Waymond Manning and (Fran) of Missouri. Edith is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Joseph McAndrews and son, Howard Manning. Service will be April 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.

We moved to Watts St. in 1999 and immediately became friends with Edith and Joe. We were good friends for many years. We would visit each other almost daily. They were an interesting couple and both of them had many interesting stories about their life in California before and after they were married. Joe passed away several years ago and now Edith is gone. They were good friends and neighbors. We have missed Joe and now we will miss Edith. May she rest in peace.
