Toleda Darlene Price, 70, of Bono, AR, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born November 7, 1954 in Walnut Ridge, AR, to James Franklin and Van Lucille (Simpson) Rucker. Darlene worked for Hayworth and the Glass Factory. She loved quilting, gardening and she was a member of the Master Garden Club.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jarvis Rucker; and two brothers-in-law, Lavaughn Barnes and Douglas Herring.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Darlene include her husband of 52 years, Jerry Price; three sons, Jeff (Skip) Price, Jermey Shane Price and Joey (Samantha) Price; a grandchild, Jared Price; two brothers, Jim (Judy) Rucker and Darrell Rucker; and four sisters, Carolyn Herring, Dorothy Barnes, Linda Lyles and Debbie (Johnny) Permenter.
Graveside services will be 2:30 pm Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Trinity Cemetery with Bill Legere officiating.
Visitation will precede the service and begin at 1 pm until 2 pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
Rusty Rucker, Ray Herring, Bobby Lyles, Elliot Rucker, Justin Rucker and Scotty Barnes will serve as pallbearers. Jared Price, Austin Culpepper, Trent Green, Luke Green, Zac Barnes, Ben Barnes, Tyler Herring and Derek Herring will serve as honorary pallbearers.
