Jason Dewayne Kilpatrick ''Toots'', 41, left his earthly home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on Sunday, July 31, 1983, to Martha Harden and was the son of Shannon Kelley. Jason was one of a kind. He lived his life the way he wanted to. He could make you laugh in any situation. His wife, children, grandson and friends were his pride and joy. Derbying was also a big part of his life. When he wasn't in the derby arena, he was out on the river; whether working or there to have a good time. To know Jason was to love him, and he will hold a big place in all our hearts.
He is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-three years, Kristy Kilpatrick; son, Landen Kilpatrick (Tate); daughters, Katlyne Kilpatrick (Seth) and Allie Kilpatrick (Bryce); one grandchild, Briar Dewayne Whaley; mother, Martha Downs (Jimmy); brother, Justin Kilpatrick (Amber); sister, Jessica Jones; nieces, Kennedy Grigsby (Dayton), Jaden Sierra, Kinzley Mallard and Kaylee Vonkanel; nephews, Jug Kilpatrick (Kayla), Brayden Mallard, Tyler Vonkanel and Ryder Jones; sister in law, Kelli Sierra (Shaun); father and mother in-law, Terry and Bonnie Stiles; eight aunts and uncles; twenty-eight first cousins; host of other family members and friends.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, Shannon Kelley; Granny ''Nezzi'' Inez; grandfather; Steve ''Pops'' Harden; one nephew; Adrian Kilpatrick.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Kilpatrick, Landen Kilpatrick, Dustin Wiggins, Gage Knuckles, Seth Whaley, Bryce Spurlock, Mark Patrick and Damon Capps.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Slane, Shaun Mallard, Jug Kilpatrick and Terry Stiles.
To honor the life of Jason Dewayne Kilpatrick, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. A funeral service for Jason will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Roller- Citizens Funeral Home. Brother Audi Richardson will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas.
