of Marble Hill, MO
November 29, 1956 - April 8, 2025
Billy Allen went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 8, 2025. He passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Billy was born in Covington, Tennessee on November 29,1956 to Charles Monroe Allen and Jeweldene Ledford Allen. Billy was preceded in death by his father Charles Monroe Allen of Brownsville, Tennessee, Jeweldene Allen of Princeton, Kentucky and Mary Jane Allen of McCrory, Arkansas. Billy is survived by a sister Rachel Rogers of Destin, Florida, brother Roger Allen and wife Marti Allen of Horseshoe Lake, Arkansas, sister Linda Edwards of Stateville, North Caroline, brother Ricky Allen of Jonesboro, Arkansas, brother Clarence Cooper of Princeton, Kentucky, as well as many nieces and nephews. Billy was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of the Baptist Church in Marble Hill, Missouri. Billy took great pride in his job as a cook and when he wasn't at work you could find him taking long walks in nature, talking to family on the phone or spending time with his beloved puppy, Elvis. As you can assume by the name of his beloved puppy Billy was a huge Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash fan. Billy never failed to light up a room when he entered or to put a smile on someone's face he came in contact with. He was definitely a beacon of light and will be missed by many. Forever to be remembered in our hearts. A celebration of life graveside service will be held at Crittenden memorial in Marion, Arkansas on April 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
