of Clinton, AR
December 29, 1943 - April 4, 2025
Kathy Marlaine (Huntley) Northcutt was born into this world on December 29, 1943. She passed on to her heavenly home on April 4th, 2025, at the age of 81. Kathy was born in Salem, Oregon, to the late Cecil and Grace Huntley. She is preceded in death by her brother, Steve Huntley and is survived by her two sisters, Tana Grosmick and Joan Thorne.
Kathy met the love of her life in the late 1960's, a handsome man from Texas named Clinton Ray Northcutt Sr. who passed in 2010. They are now reunited in heaven.
She is survived by their two beloved children: Clinton Ray Northcutt Jr. and Ginny Marie Wolfe and husband Robert. Kathy was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren: Lance Griffin Northcutt, Kasey Jay Smith, Andrew Huntley Northcutt, and Torie Lockaby Smith and was blessed with three great-grandchildren: Jayden Cole, Kyla Cole and Kasyn Smith.
Kathy was an artist. She expressed her talent as a master cake decorator in the bakery businesses she and her husband owned in Texas, Oklahoma and then Heber Springs, Arkansas. After raising their children and retiring from the bakery business, they moved to Formosa, Arkansas for the next chapter of their lives. Once they were settled, she decided to open one last bakery, The City Bakery and Happy Road Cake Shoppe in downtown Clinton. With Clinton's talent for wood crafting and Kathy's talent for painting, together they enjoyed many years selling their art in Branson, Missouri and local festivals.
Far and above Kathy's artistic abilities was her love for Jesus Christ and her devotion to the Christian faith. She was a born-again believer. She lived a Christ-centered life and was a blessing to her family and community. Kathy's love, kindness and sweet spirit will be deeply missed by all her family, friends and neighbors.

Sending love and prayers to you and family
It is such a sorrow to no longer have my sister in my present life, but we were also sisters in the Lord so I have faith that we will be together again. I will most miss her contagious laugh and twinkling eyes. We were able to visit with her last summer at her home and I am so thankful for that time together.
We want to extend our deepest condolences to your family. I love you guys so much and I will be praying for you all.
I’ll miss my dear sister, although we couldn’t see each other in person often, when we did we always had a wonderful time. Kathy loved life and sharing her time and talents with others. I find comfort knowing she is peacefully right where she wants to be and was welcomed with open arms.
Mrs. Kathy was such a sweet lady and she made some very beautiful and delicious cakes for many people. We are thankful to have known her. Prayers for her family.
