Mary ''Lavada'' Jeffries, 83, of Conway, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025. She was born on March 10, 1942, in California, to Harold and Virda Kruse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Wayne Jeffries; mother, Virda Kruse; father, Harold Kruse; brother, Larry Kruse and sister, Phyllis Hall. She is survived by a nephew, Greg Jeffries (Sheila) and cousin, Nelda Grissom, sister-in-law, Sandra Jeffries, a great-niece, Kristin Jetts, a great-nephew, Joshua Jeffries and a great-great-niece, Ellie Jetts. She will be deeply missed.

Her passions included spending time with family and friends, spoiling her dogs, and working in her yard. She spent her career working as an administrative assistant for Universal Nolan and Frigidaire in Conway.

The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Conway Regional Hospital who so skillfully and compassionately cared for her.

A private family service will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Arkansas, on April 12, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Arkansas Food Bank.
