of Forrest City, AR
November 25, 1961 - April 3, 2025
Teresa Ladena Ball, age 63, of Forrest City, Arkansas, was born on November 25, 1961, in Trumann, Arkansas, and passed away on April 3, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
She is survived by her father Charles Stewart, her son, Barton Ball of Marion, AR, her daughter, Jennifer Houston (Rusty) of Marion, AR and her fiancé, Joey Callahan of Forrest City, AR. Teresa's legacy of love also lives on through her cherished grandchildren whom she proudly adored, Adisyn, Tyler, Bea, Bentley, Brooklyn and many others she embraced as her own. She is preceded in death by her mother Janie Stewart and brothers Mark Stewart, Mike Stewart and sister Tammy Stewart Monreal.
Teresa attended Marion High School and later earned her certification as a Certified Dental Assistant. Throughout her career, she held a variety of roles that showcased her strong work ethic and adaptability, including shipping and receiving clerk at Ergon Asphalt in Memphis, TN; shipping/receiving/grader at Carlson Mills in Proctor, AR; and dispatcher at White Motor Company and Towing in Forrest City, AR. In 2017, Teresa retired to fully embrace the role she loved most-devoted mother and doting grandmother. She dedicated her time to spoiling her family, especially her grandchildren, with affection, laughter, and plenty of adventures. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she proudly took on the role of ''Nanny'' and mother figure to many she considered her ''adopted'' children and grandchildren.
Teresa's passions were as vibrant and unique as she was. She loved crafting, decorating her home, lively political discussions, her favorite reality TV shows, and hitting the road for an RV trip with her fiancé Joey. Travel was her therapy-especially beachside getaways and cruise ship adventures where she could feel the sun on her face and the sand between her toes. Being near water brought her peace, whether it was a vast ocean or a quiet lake.
Teresa loved creating memories and soaking in life's simple pleasures. Known for her fiery spirit and boundless love, Teresa was a true spitfire with a laugh as big as her heart. She was unapologetically herself-bold, loving, fiercely loyal-and her presence lit up every room. She had a one-of-a-kind personality and was a force to be reckoned with. Her absence leaves a space that no one else could ever fill. Her proudest accomplishments were not professional titles or awards, but the love she poured into her family and friends. Teresa's legacy is one of warmth, humor, and unconditional love-a light that will never dim in the hearts of those who knew her.
A memorial service celebrating Teresa's life will be held at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas, on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
