Kay and family, I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. I am stunned. I never got to meet any of Don's family, but from our many conversations, I almost feel like I know them. My wife Judy knew him in high school, then I had the pleasure of meeting him many years later, and Judy also was able to reconnect. Don and I enjoyed shooting together, and many hours of conversation, especially at the Wagon Wheel. He had just texted me about a month ago that he was in the hospital, and I had been thinking just the last week or so, whether he would be up to meeting at Wagon Wheel again. And now this. I don't get on Facebook everyday. I am so sorry I missed the visitation and funeral. Don was a great friend, and I will miss him. But by our faith in Jesus Christ, we know we shall see him again. Rest in God's peace.

While with VICA and SKILLS USA we had some good times together. We have stayed in contact through Facebook. This saddens me for I thought a lot of Don. However I will be burying my brother the same day. Please know you all will be in my prayers.

So sorry for your loss. I remember Don as always being the person you could depend on. I know he
loved his family and all the students he served throughout the years. I was always impressed that Don could do a little bit of everything. Just don't remember many folks with his abilities and skills - and not afraid of hard work!

I am proud to have known and worked with Don. I appreciate the great house he built for me on Salem Road - just about perfect in every respect.
Prayers for all the family.

I knew Don from work at the State Apprenticeship Program. He was a great employee and was liked by all. Don showed me some pictures of his cuckoo clocks and they were so beautiful that I had to have one. I got one for my husband’s Christmas gift. I would like to express my sincere condolences to all his family.
