Eberhart Lensing, Jr., 86, of Subiaco, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Subiaco. He was born on October 19, 1938 in Shoal Creek to his parents, Abe and Sophie (Kremer) Lensing.
Eberhart, or commonly referred to as E.H. or Jr. served in the United States Air National Guard for 6 years. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting quail, water skiing, dancing with his wife Carolyn and even restored a few early model Mustangs from the ground up. For years he worked on appliances and later opened his own laundry mat in Subiaco. In recent years he was owner and operator of Lensing Brothers Lumber in Ozark and Subiaco and always enjoyed working on his cattle farm. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco and the Knight of Columbus Council 3787.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Sophie (Kremer) Lensing and two sisters, Jeanie Layes and Ann Schmitz.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn Lensing of Subiaco; one daughter, Amanda Raines and husband Johnny of Charleston; two sons, Doug Lensing and wife Michelle of Greenwood and Kirk Lensing and wife Fran of Paris; two brothers, Leonard Lensing and wife Jo of Subiaco and Dennis Lensing and wife Jackie of Shoal Creek; 8 grandchildren, Aaron Lensing, Ryan Lensing, Evan Lensing, Micah Lensing, Josh Raines, Mikhail Raines, Owen Lensing and Katelyn Lensing and 7 great-grandchildren, Hallie Lensing, Heidi Lensing, Ellis Lensing, Violet Raines, Mary Lane Lensing, Kora Lensing and Dominic Lensing.
A rosary service will begin at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Subiaco. The family will visit with friends 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the rosary.
The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at St. Benedict Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel, O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Benedict Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Lensing, Ryan Lensing, Evan Lensing, Micah Lensing, Josh Raines, Mikhail Raines and Owen Lensing.
