Sandra and I met Jim while working at the DOL in the late 1970's. We became friends with him and enjoyed his quick wit and sense of humor. We have some good memories from that time. Please accept our condolences.

I am so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I worked with Jim for many years at DOL. Not only was he a thoughtful colleague who cared deeply about the mission of the Department, but he was a fun and caring person. I was sad when he retired because I so enjoyed working with him on DOL projects. I hope that the family finds peace in their many wonderful memories of times with Jim.

Was lucky enough to know Jim in High School and early in college. We then went on different paths. It gives me great to joy to see that he was fortunate to have found love, family and happiness. We became Facebook friends but not regularly. His soul is kind, gentle and caring. Who can predict the arc of someone else's life But it was obvious what kind of man Jim would become. He was rewarded in this life and will be in the next. I wish and will pray for peace for those who shared his life closely.

I’m still in shock about you passing Jim.
I’ve known you for close to 9 years now.
We had a lot in common and l will miss all our daily texting over these past few years. We shared a couple of the same battles. One being colorectal cancer survivors. That’s where we really became close. I will our communication and the true friendship.
praying for your family and the many lives that you have touched through out the other journey that we share. Godspeed my dear friend!

I am so sorry to read this. Jim and I worked together at DOL. He was always so well prepared, and more important, so very pleasant to work with. He exemplified public service in the best tradition of that term.
