Bob, Tara, and Drew,
My heart aches for you, and I hope you can feel the love and prayers coming from North Carolina—we are grieving with you. Marilou was a truly remarkable woman, generous with her time and kindness. In recent years, when I traveled to Arkansas to teach for Bob, she never hesitated to pick me up, always greeting me with her warmth and infectious joy. She had a way of making everyone feel at home, and every moment with her was full of laughter and light.
Sending our deepest sympathy, love, and prayers.

I had the privilege to teach for several years with Marilou at Rockefeller Elementary. Her yes twinkled when she smiled and her laugh was infectious. Marilou was quick witted and very funny. Once you were her friends it was for the long haul. We had a lunch a couple of summers ago and it was like we were sitting in the lounge at lunch. Rest easy sweet lady, we will take it from here.
Bob- Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. Marilou was a wonderful person, an incredible wife and mother, and a dedicated teacher. She will be greatly missed by so many. Sending our love and prayers of healing to you, Tara, Drew, and the rest of the family.
