“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” -II Corinthians 1:3-4
Alma is a precious soul who will always be remembered for her sweet smile and gentle spirit. What a privilege it has been to watch her grow as a young artist and witness her creativity and talent. May God surround her family and friends with His loving presence and provide the comfort only He can provide. Sweet Emma, you are loved and prayed for and you have so many that are here for you. Never forget you are not alone.
My love and prayers go out to all of Alma’s family.

I didn’t know you all too well except having one class with you, I was a senior while you were just starting your years of high school. You were kind, we talked a lot about the series and game fandoms we both mutually liked. We loved art, and I shown you the art that I drew; you always loving what I had to bring to the table. You were and still are a kind soul, someone who I wish I got closer with if I only knew how much you were struggling. You always had the nicest smile on your face, and I hope and pray to God that you are sleeping peacefully. I wish you were able to live a long happy life, but I hope you know in heaven how much others adored your presence.

I’ll miss you forever. My memories with you of playing hide n seek, playing arcade games, and hanging out outside were great ones, even if they were my last. I’ll miss our walmart runs with emma. I’ll miss our random dollar store runs. Knowing I was minutes away when it happened is something I will have to live with forever. I love you lots, forever.

Alma, I wish you could have seen yourself as we see you. A delightful, friendly, smiling kind young woman who did her best to be a good person. You were my Granddaughter's best friend and she misses you so. It was a privilege to have met you in my home and thank you for being my Granddaughter's friend. Thank you for giving of yourself to those around you. Now, you are safely within the Kingdom of love where there are no more tears nor sorrow. No more sadness, no more confusion. No more despair. We will see you again. Meanwhile, thank you for being you.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing sweet Alma since she was a first grade student in my class. I’m so thankful that we were able to reconnect in recent years through our church youth group, and that we were able to share special moments together on a youth beach camp trip. I’ll always treasure the conversations and memories that we shared. Alma was such a light to those around her. My prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

I’ve been friends with alma for I don’t even know how long now, we were close in 8th grade and then we became close again this year. I loved seeing her in the mornings during first block first semester because that meant I had someone to gossip with. I also had her in my English class during second block and she would help me with my work and we would gossip and tell each other about how much we hated the work we got, but all in all I had a friend in there who did judge me (unless the judging was needed) and now all I have to go to Monday morning is an empty seat right beside me. She was the kindest person I knew, and she had this smile that lit up the room like she was the Eiffel Tower. I loved how creative she was like drying flowers and putting them on your bag Who would have thought of that. She had become a very amazing young woman and I am so sad to see that she was not happy enough to see how loved she was. I promise you Alma you were very loved. I am so sorry that you didn’t feel that way. And to her parents, I don’t know what it is like to lose a child but I have lost my mother so I know what it is like to lose someone who is apart of me and I am so sorry for your loss. Your daughter was cherished by so many. Mental health is not taken seriously here in Arkansas and it needs to be. Again I am so sorry for your loss. I send my deepest condolences.

In the amount of time I knew Alma she was an incrediblely nice and caring person. She always had time to help people. Even if she didn't know you or know you that well she was still a sweetheart. Class will never be the same without the energy you bring. Nor the smile you brought to brighten the day of others. We will all miss you very much. Get the rest you every so much deserve. You will still brighten the day of others in the sunset and sunrise that you'll bring upon your closest friends. Rest well and we all hope your happy wherever you are. Everyone misses you.
