Aunt Barbara and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Don from when I was a young . He was usually getting after me for something I did, warning me about something I was planning to do or laughing at me for something he found out about . I always knew he was looking out for me. I don’t remember him ever being angry. I really wanted to come to say goodbye. God bless you all, know you are held in my heart.
Love, Gay

Don always had an interesting story to tell and told it with the enthusiasm that only he could! I throughly enjoyed those stories. Always willing to lend an ear, help or advice to anyone willing to take it! Sure will be missed. Yall I'm at a loss for words. I'm so sorry for your loss. I recall the days with pleasure growing up with Tink and Rondo and always felt welcomed as family.

Dear Barbara, Tink, Rondo, Rusty & family, I am a loss for words. My mind keeps going back to childhood, when, if you didn't find me at my grandma's, you'd find me at the Smith's home. I have such fond memories, of all the time, I spent with him. Truly a special & genuine man. I will miss him. Y'all are in my thoughts & prayers. Love always, Amy
