Ruby Dean Jackson (1934-2025)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ruby Dean Jackson, age 90, of Conway, Arkansas. She was born on July 3, 1934 in Statesboro, Georgia and passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025. Ruby led a full and meaningful life filled with love, kindness and a deep commitment to family and to the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother (Nina). In her younger days, she especially loved camping, fishing and traveling. She also enjoyed reading, shopping, doing crossword puzzles and playing solitaire.

Ruby is survived by her sister, Christine Wiley; daughter, Gail Page (Larry); son, Jay Gardner (Terri); daughter-in-law, Patti Phillips Wood; grandchildren, Sarah Morrison (Alan), Anna Holden (Jeremy), Austen Gardner (Brittany), Lexi Martin (Caleb), Tyler Stalnaker, Dustin Phillips (Terri) and Summer Martin (Jason). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Jackson; son, Donnie Phillips; grandsons, Gary Phillips and Patrick Page; mother, Pearl Joiner and two sisters, Betty Joiner and Frances Whitten.

She attended Central Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas. Her remains will be interred at Crestlawn Memorial Park. A private memorial service will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
