Shirley Ann Harvey, 88, of Fox, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, March 18, 2025. She was born on October 27, 1936 in Newton, Kansas to Clayton Jr. and Elsie (Soth) Ainsworth. She married James ''Jim'' Harvey in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 18, 1959.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and siblings, Barbara Fayette, Clayton III ''Buzzy'' Ainsworth, Jerry Ainsworth, Susann Birkle, Regina Busby and Louis Ainsworth.
Shirley was a proud Navy wife, hardworking mother, caring grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was spent in service to others, ranging from scouting and 4-H volunteer, election poll worker, religious education teacher and Altar Society president. She also worked as a telephone operator, 4-H aide and census worker. Her hands were always busy, from gardening, canning, sewing, knitting and crocheting; with most items given to friends and family. When she took time to rest, she enjoyed sitting on the porch and working in her puzzle books.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, John Harvey of Conway, Arkansas; daughters, Carmen (Brett) Bohn of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jean (Kevin) Curtis of Weatherford, Texas; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and siblings, Frances Hayes, Tim Ainsworth and Rebecca (Jim) Seger all of Newton, Kansas.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 29th, 2025 at 11 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be prior at 10:30 am.

I enjoyed visiting with Ms Shirley over the years. Whenever she would come in the bank we would visit for long periods of time about anything from spouses, children, crafts, gardening ,what have you. I always felt like she left me enlightened and a wiser person whenever she left. I know her family will cherish all the wonderful memories they made with Shirley. I know I will
