Mrs. Janice Croney, age 69, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 in Mountain Home. She was born on September 12, 1955 in Drury, Missouri to Lloyd and Effie (Berry) Tate. On February 9, 1974 she married the love of her life, Stanley Croney.
Janice was a devoted member of Embrace Church, a retiree of Baxter Lab and a passionate volunteer with Operation Christmas Child Shoebox. She found great joy in giving to others. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, gardening and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and friend, known for her kindness and ability to make everyone feel cherished.
She is survived by her husband; mother; two children, Randy Croney (Tisha) and Wayne Croney; three grandchildren, James Croney, Kayson Croney and Brenton Ross and six siblings, Joanne Estep (Tony), Carl Hicks, William Hicks (Londa), Pauline Stanley, Margaret Miller (Tom) and half-brother, Leon Tate (Jan). She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Rosemary McIntosh; brother, Jr. Tate and half-sister, Venetta Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on March 31, 2025 at Embrace Church. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to Operation Shoebox, items can be dropped off at Embrace Church on HWY 5 North in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Janice's warmth and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
I wish I'd have known you. You were my daddy's sister. May you rest in peace. I'm sending to love to the family I know and have never met.
