Geneva Sue Palmer, 83, a resident of Lamar, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, in Atkins. She was born on February 22, 1942, in Clarksville, to the late William Marion and Ola Faye (Roberts) Sisk. Geneva was devoted to healthcare at Johnson Regional Medical Center for almost 50 years. She also loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Louis Palmer; one granddaughter, Amanda Palmer; two sisters, Mary Jo Clark and Patricia Gail (Sisk) Holman and her husband, Gayland Holman.
Those who are left to cherish the memories of Geneva are her three daughters, Pamela Palmer, Diana Palmer, and Marion Palmer; one brother-in-law, Mack Arthur Clark; five grandchildren, Paige Boyd, Teresa Hern, Rodney Palmer, K.T. Turner, and Ryan Turner; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous additional family members and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas. Her family will have a memorial service for Geneva at 11:00 A.M., on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Holman Church in Lamar, Arkansas, with Brother Ira Taylor officiating.
