Waymon Lee Brewer, 81, of Cord passed away Friday, March 21, 2025.
He was born February 24, 1944 in Dowdy, Arkansas to Homer Lee Brewer and Mary Lee Smith Brewer.
Waymon was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a workaholic and worked construction all of his life. He loved his family and especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching TV more so westerns and sports with Razorback Baseball being his favorite.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rose Marie Weinrich Brewer of the home; one daughter, Victoria Rose Taylor of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren, Sammatha Knight, Richelle (Cody) Wortham, Waymon Brett Newton, Jacob Taylor, and Aaron Newton; three great-grandchildren, Braiden Wortham, AnaClaire Wortham, and Ridge Wortham; one brother, Jerry Wayne Brewer of Cord; one sister, Norma Dyson of Cord; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karean Newton; three brothers, Arthur Brewer, George Brewer, and Marvin Brewer; and one sister, Lillian Shirley.
Pallbearers are Brad Helms, Michael Walker, Dud Riley, Cody Wortham, Jerry Brewer, and Scott Kirk.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00am Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Jeff Childers officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Cord.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the funeral home.
