LeRoy Dexter, 90, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, in Fort Smith with his loved ones by his side.
LeRoy was born October 7, 1934, in Rushville, Nebraska to his parents, Frank Dexter and Fern (Trennepohl) Dexter. He was a brick mason for over forty years and a member of the Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.
He enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing and working in his yard.
He is preceded in death by his parents listed above, his wife of thirty-five years Tincie (Black) Dexter; his sister, Donna Martin and one daughter, Pauly Stephens.
He is survived by five daughters, Virginia Tanner of Roseville, Arkansas, Nita Fitzjurls and husband, Paul of Paris, Arkansas, Karen Wibert and husband, Donnie of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Robin Davis and husband, Rodney of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Scarlett Bahls and husband, Doug of Bradfordsville, Kentucky; two sisters, Earlene Tryban of Springfield, Missouri and Joyce Cline of Bend, Oregon and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Life memorial service at a later date at Carpenter Cemetery in Roseville.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
