of West Memphis, AR
October 28, 1959 - March 19, 2025
Scott Anthony Younger, 65, of West Memphis, AR passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. He was born on October 28, 1959 to Judith Hagan and Gene Younger.
Scott worked for Do-All Company as a machine tool tech for 16 years. He went on to open his own business called Younger's Machine Tool Service around the year 2000. Scott was a member at Christ Outreach Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Judith Hagan and Gene Younger and his granddaughter, Deanna Younger.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 27 years, Sandy Younger; sons, Lonnie Younger of Nashville, TN and Scott Steele of Proctor, AR; daughter, Jenny Younger of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Buddy Younger and Bo Caple and sisters, Deedee Caple and Christy Krages.
"So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.
If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So, it is written: ''The first man Adam became a living being''; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit."
The family would like to thank the Springs of Broadway and River Valley Hospice for taking such good care of Scott, with special thanks to his nurse, Emily Sandidge.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Christ Community Church of Nazarene.
A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 2:00pm. A visitation will precede from 10:00am-12:00pm at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis.
