So sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I went to school with him in 1970-71 at Central High. We sometimes called him "Sammy Tuba", since he was in the high school band. I knew him through Gary Ward, a percussionist in the band. Sam and I had summer jobs and worked in 1972 at the Arkansas Health Department on Markham Street in Little Rock. I am not sure exactly what he did at the Health Dept, but it wasn't in the same area I was in. He drove an AMC Gremlin at the time, we sometimes had lunch and listened to the radio in the Gremlin. He used to drop by at the State Printing Company on 12th Street when we practiced in our little rock band. I still have a picture that he took with his instamatic camera back around that era. He was a good person.
So sorry to hear this. I knew Sam many years ago, as a friend of his brother, Eddie. His parents were among those who bought their new home in Meadowcliff in the 1950"s. My condolences to all. He favors his mother in this obit picture.
We will truly miss Sam. Our hearts go at to Karen and the kids. We love y’all and if there is anything we can do please let us know. Love you Karen
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Though, Sammy was actually more my
little brothers’ friend than mine, I remember him well from the time he was very young, and always thought highly of him. My heart breaks for y’all. Take comfort in the fact he’s in a better place.
RIP Sam “Tuba” Mills. Always enjoyed being around you. Appreciate your friendship. Will always remember you on that Triumph motorcycle.
I'm so sorry to hear about Sam. I worked with him for several years at Pettus. Prayers for his family.
He, went to school with my family members and friends. Love and prayers to his family friend and classmates, coworkers. Great organization to give too!
Sam was a very well liked and respected sales rep at Pettus for 33 years. He will be missed by all of his customers and friends here at Pettus Workplace Solutions.

Prayers for the family. Sam was great to work with. Great person.
So sorry for your loss.
Sam was a great man. I really enjoyed working with him for many years. I’ll never forget when I was a young kid running around the office & how he would take time out of a busy workday to show me how to make an amazing paper airplane
RIP Sam!
I love you my little sis, nephew and niece. I will continue to pray for you throughout the days to come. I pray the Heavenly Father will bless you with peace and comfort throughout each day. Philippians 4:4–7
Karen & Sammy,
My heart aches for you during this time of loss. Sam was a wonderful man and it was my privilege to work with him for 25years.
There was no one more patriotic than Sam. He loved his country, his family, and his German Shepherds.
May God wrap His loving arms around you today and the days ahead.
Psalm 34:18.
I am still praying for you all. God bless you!
Sam it was my pleasure getting to know and work with you. I hope Karen and Sammy can find peace with their husband and father moving on.
