Michael ''Mike'' Glenn Ward, 69, of Elaine, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born on Saturday, April 9, 1955 in Helena, Arkansas to the late William Earnest Ward and Geneva Lovell.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and aggravating his nieces and nephews. He was known affectionately as ''Uncle Ornery.'' Michael was a farmer, whom also owned and operated Brent's Custom Service from 1998-2012. He was a member of the Elaine Baptist Church in Elaine, Arkansas.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Becky Ward; one brother, Kenneth Ward (Jeanie) of Newport, Tennessee; two special friends, Kenny Holt and West Horner; special cousin, Chuck Ward and special nephew, John Ripper.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Brent Ward; brother, Carroll Ward and parents-in-law, Helen and Joe Perkins.
Pallbearers will be Eric Benefield, Jason Short, Hunter Holt, Bert Davidson, Jim Hindsley and Blake Johnston.
Honorary Pallbearers will be L.K. Holt, James Lawrence, Weldon Harris, Jim Diles, Jasper Ripper and Terry Fuller.
A funeral service for Michael ''Mike'' Glenn Ward will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Elaine Baptist Church in Elaine, Arkansas. A visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Elaine Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that they go to Elaine Baptist Church, St. Jude Children's Hospital or Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
