Gary Brewer, 64, passed away on March 13, 2025 at his home in Mountain View, Arkansas surrounded by family. He was born to Lola B. and Joe Brewer on July 13, 1960. Most people knew Gary from the 17 years that he ran Whitfield Tires. Everyone who met Gary knew him for his bigger than life personality and more than generous heart. He was a member of Arbanna Baptist Church where he rode his 4-wheeler there just to listen to preacher, Jim Chandler. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His pride and joy in life was his grandkids.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Lola B. Brewer, Joe Brewer; wife, Kathy (Whitfield) Brewer and daughter, Nichole Brewer.

Gary is survived by his children, Melissa ''Missy'' (Greg) Frederick, Chris (April) Brewer; grandchildren, Chelsea (Scott) Shaw, Zac Frederick, Amy Frederick, Joseph Brewer, Lee Brewer; great-grandchild, Chandler Shaw; brothers, Jim (Bonnie) Brewer, Vernon (Margie) Brewer; sister, Lou Bannister; nieces, Malinda (Scotty) Kemp, Mary Jane Peters, Bridget Cochran and family, Karen Goodman and family, Betty Osborn and family, Tammy Roper and family; nephew, Steve Brewer and family; along with many other friends, family and loved ones.

A private service was held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.

So sorry for the loss Gary was a good friend to the Powell family all my life,I shocked to hear of his passing.

So sorry to hear this. Gary always had a smile and a laugh to share. I think that he may have been the strongest man I've ever known. One time I was there and offered to help him out a big truck tire and rim over the side of a dump truck. He just said to stand back and he threw it over the side wit probably a foot to spare and the just grinned. Praying for the family
