James Alvie Bryant, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. He was born on February 15, 1935 to Alvie and Della (Phillips) Bryant. He was career military and retired from the United States Navy. This led to his love of anything having to do with military ships.
He is preceded in death by wife, Cassie Bryant; his parents; brothers, Delbert Bryant, Jewel Bryant and Lesley Bryant and sisters, Mildred Conner, Merle Brimhall, Joann Patrick, Audie Caples and Dee Colinger.
Left to remember James are his nieces, Lana Brumley and Laura Teal and a stepdaughter, Barbara Frizzell.
No services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are under the care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.

James was loved by many at St. Bernards Village. It was always a joy to see him walking the halls and sitting in his chair by the pool table. He was one of the few people that the resident dog, Archie, liked. James always had a smile on his face and seemed to know more about the weather than the news! He will be greatly missed...
