Mary Helen Wilson, age 71, passed away at her home in West Memphis on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born in Memphis, TN to parents, Douglas and Janette Wilson on June 30, 1953.
Mary was never married and had no children. She spent her career as a school teacher and was a great friend to others throughout the community.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents. She will be laid to rest at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas after a brief graveside service which begins at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

Ms. Wilson was my 2nd grade teacher and was a thoughtful and caring teacher. What a blessing she was to so many people. She was one of a kind. May God bless your soul.
Mary Helen and I grew up on Wilson Rd. I have many fond memories of those years. She was always so sweet and kind. I’m sorry to hear of her passing.
I remember Mary Helen from our school days at West Junior High and WMSHS. She was always so very sweet and kind. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, but oh, the joy of her homegoing to Jesus!
Mary Helen was the kindest young lady, and always had a big smile for anyone she encountered. I'm sorry she is gone from this world, but now she is certainly praising The Lord in her new home.
Mary Helen lived down the street from me when we were children. She was in the 4th grade and I was in the 2nd. I lost touch with her when she left for college. We reconnected a few years back and had lunch. So thankful for that opportunity and thankful for our friendship. Many good memories.

Mary Helen and I graduated from West Memphis High School. She was so very kind and gracious to anyone that she met. Her years as a school teacher left an impact on each and every child that she taught. I will miss you greatly.
Mary Helen was a gifted teacher who truly loved imparting a love of learning to many children here including my own three children. Mary Helen was also a loving friend and a sweet neighbor. She will be missed but heaven is blessed to have her there.
