Lisa Taylor Worsham

of Wilson, AR

January 28, 1956 - March 11, 2025

Lisa Taylor Worsham, 69, of Wilson entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born January 28, 1956 in Osceola to John Warren and Martha Ann (Burch) Taylor. She graduated from Osceola High School in 1974 and worked as a bookkeeper for Osceola Memorial Hospital, American State Bank in Osceola and Wilson and Lee Wilson & Company, where she worked until she retired. Lisa was an active member of the Wilson Methodist Church, where she served on several committees. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but her most precious times were spent with her grandchildren, who knew their Nana loved them and bragged on everything they did. Her little dog, Bella, was her constant companion.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, Carroll Don Worsham, whom she has missed everyday since they have been apart and stepson, Philip Earnest. She is survived by her daughter, Jenna Worsham Kemper; stepdaughter, Amy Story; grandchildren, Clark Story, Lyric Worsham and Canon Allen Mayden; sister, Pamela Smoot (Danny Paul Lowerins); brother, John W. Taylor Jr. (Margee); several nieces and nephews; a host of many special friends and those she loved as her own children and grandchildren, Brooke Vermillion Brewer, Melody Winstead, Noah Winstead and Mary Alison Mayden.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 15th from 1-2 p.m. at Roller-Swift Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. Pall bearers are Harrison Hood, Jim Johns, Kevin Johns, Scott Chandler, Jerry Stuart and Luke Wright.

To leave a fond memory, please visit the online guestbook at www.RollerFuneralHomes.com.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation (pkdcure.org) in memory of Lisa.

Oh my dear friend Lisa we go way back. Started when you were a younger sister wanting to tag along with Pam, Jean, and I. The stories you can tell and never forget anything. Blackmail material. One of the funnies stories you tell is, when we went to a dance and lLOCKED you in the car. How I will miss the stories. Our girls became friends (how scary was that), we worked together, we laughed so much. I’m sad and will miss you! In parting as we would say LOVE YOU!

I will miss stopping to talk with Lisa when she was sitting outside watching Bella explore the yard. She was a good neighbor, a sweet friend, and a second mother to my Brooke. I bet she and Leila are talking and catching up on everything ! Praying for peace and comfort for Jenna and the whole family.

What a great loss to her family, friends and the community. She was a rare jewel with a beautiful soul and we will miss her for years to come. She always came out to check on George and me when we were doing yard work so we would take a break and just talk about anything. I still can't quite believe she's gone. Our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends; you are in our prayers. She's in God's hands now and at peace.

But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I’d have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
