Amanda Kay Hackler

of Conway, AR

March 4, 1984 - March 6, 2025

Amanda Kay Hackler, 41, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on March 6, 2025, just two days after her birthday. She has now reunited with her beloved mother, father and grandparents.

Born on March 4, 1984 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Denise and Alvin Close, Amanda and her family made Arkansas their home for the past 40 years. She graduated from Conway High School in 2002. Above all else, Amanda cherished being a mother. If asked about her greatest achievement, she would undoubtedly say her amazing boys. She was a devoted mother, loving wife and a true friend to many. Amanda never met a stranger-her warmth, kindness and unforgettable personality left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She was truly one of a kind and was taken from this world far too soon.

Amanda is survived by her loving husband, Gary; her two cherished sons, Jeremy and Toby; her brother, Nicholas; her sisters, Christina and Jackie and many heartbroken cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. She also leaves behind her dear Amazon family, who became an extension of her own.

Amanda's light will continue to shine through the love she shared and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of Amanda's life will be held at 2pm Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

During this difficult time, please know that you are in my thoughts. While words can never fully express how sorry I am for your loss, I hope you can find comfort in the memories you shared with Amanda and the love of those around you.

Can we take a moment of silence for Amanda. Some don’t know and some do. But we have lost an amazing person. She impacted a lot of people that worked here, anything you needed help with she would go above and beyond to make happen. She was always there for you at work or outside of work. And she is most definitely going to be missed.

Just a moment of silence for Amanda.

May she rest in Love, and in Peace, and condolences to her family.

I'm so sorry about Amanda. I found a scripture on JW.org that I like to share, Acts 24:15, "there is going to be a resurrection," I wish your family the very best for the future.

Dear Amanda’s Family,

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Amanda. She was a wonderful colleague and will be greatly missed. Her dedication, kindness, and positive spirit left a lasting impact on all of us. Amanda was one of the hardest workers I’ve met not just at Amazon but anywhere. There was nothing she couldn’t master.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

With sympathy,
Dustin

I am so shocked to hear this. It’s clear Amanda made a huge impact on those around her. She was always so kind and one of my very favorite people through my years at Amazon. I lost touch after leaving but I will never forget her kindness through some of the worst moments of my life. God bless her and her family, y’all will forever be in my thoughts and prayers.
