Janet Daniel Sorrell, age 70, passed away at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 2, 2025. She was born on January 31,1955 in Memphis, Tennessee to parents, Glover and Jennie Daniel.
Over the years Janet work in many different industries, but her favorite and what made her most proud, was when she opened her own catering business as she loved to cook. She was a very independent and strong-willed person who made sure it was her way, right up until the end.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Daniels (Jimmy) of Yukon, Oklahoma and her two grandchildren who she adored, Bentley and Emery Daniels. She also leaves her brother, Robert Daniel (Cathy) of Proctor, Arkansas. Janet is preceded by her parents, Glover and Jennie Smith Daniel and one brother, Bruce Daniel.
Visitation for Janet will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in the Chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis beginning at 1:00 PM followed by her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. She will then be laid to rest at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
