Brenda Marie Johnson, 60, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at her home.

Brenda was born on November 15, 1964 in Malvern, Arkansas to Sammy Gene Neal and Charlene Prewett Howard. A beloved member of the Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, she touched the lives of many through her years of service as a bank branch manager.

Brenda's passions were many-she enjoyed bowling, riding her Harley Davidson and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her ''Nonee''. Her dog, Little Bit, was also a great joy in her life.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Glen Johnson of Alexander; her son, Chris Johnson (Sydne) of Bauxite; her daughter, Jennifer Gamble of Alexander; five cherished grandchildren: Amesleigh Gamble, Bentley Gamble, Layton Johnson, Adyson Johnson and Renley Johnson; her mother, Charlene Howard and a step-brother, Jimmy Simmons. She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Gene Neal; step-father, Louis Simmons; a sister, Sandra K. Holcombe and a step-brother, Bobby Simmons.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, with Bro. Marcus Blakely officiating. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery in Lonsdale.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. Pallbearers will be Doug Vaughan, Jeff Huckaby, David Himes, Corky Gaylor, Jimmy Simmons and Robby Gamble.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton.

Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories.

I’m going to miss you so much. I enjoyed our time together and working together. You were a great friend and I will remember your strength and support through both of our health challenges. You called me your ride-or-die, and I would’ve done anything I could to make things better. You were so special to me, I love you.
