Mary Thompson, 72, of Paris, Arkansas passed away Monday March 3, 2025 in Paris surrounded by her loved ones.
Mary was born April 4, 1952 in Paris to her parents, Von Hamilton and Mammie (Spencer) Hamilton. Mary worked as an LPN for many years and attended Vocational Technical School to be a mechanic. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, living beside the lake, working on cars and in her flower beds, crocheting things for the grandchildren and watching them play sports.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Clifton Clayton and Bobby Clayton, Jr.; one daughter, Leslie Clayton; one brother, Ralph Hamilton and one sister, Lucille Hamilton.
She is survived by her two sons, Anthony Clayton and wife, Brandi of Charleston and Clinton Clayton and wife, Jessica of Jacksonville, North Carolina; three sisters, Reatha Phillips of Paris, Jessie Robinson of Paris and LeeAnn Floyd of Caulksville; nine grandchildren, Alex Clayton, Layne Cooper, Brady Clayton, Kirin Cooper, Cash Clayton, Amelia Clayton, Sarah Clayton, Hannah Clayton and Josh Clayton; two great grandchildren, Kinsley Clayton and Adaleya Clayton and several other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Paris First Assembly of God Church followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Shawna Clayton, burial will follow the funeral at Rainey Cemetery in Paris.
Funeral service and arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Clayton, Spencer Phillips, Brady Clayton, Alex Clayton, Kirin Cooper and Brian Young.

I was so saddened to learn of Mary's passing. Having had ties to Mary and her family sense we were kids, she will truly be missed. Prayers for her family, that she loved greatly.
