Stephen Richard Baudier, 74, of Edgemont, Arkansas was born on July 28, 1950 to the late Raymond C. and Murlyn (Hoffman) Baudier in New Orleans, Louisiana and went to be with his Lord on March 1, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from the Jesuit High School in Shreveport, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Steve is an honorary member of the Conway High School class of 1968.
Steve came to Arkansas to become the House Manager for Warren and Harriet Stephens of Little Rock in 1991. He worked for the Stephens family for fourteen years before meeting his soon to be wife, Kay.
Steve and Kay married on February 12, 2005. He worked at the state hospital from August, 2006 until he retired in July, 2018. Steve was an active member of the Gap Riders Christian Motorcycle association and was an active member of Westside First Baptist Church in Greer's Ferry until his passing. He loved to travel. He and Kay managed to do 27 cruises from 2009 to the present. Steve was very devoted and attentive to Kay. They shared a love that no words can explain.
Steve and Kay loved living in Mystic Isle and enjoyed various activities held by the association throughout the year. He was an avid antique car buff and owned many during his lifetime. Steve loved making stained glass pieces, many of which are found hanging in their home. He also donated several pieces to various organizations to be auctioned off.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Baudier.
Left to cherish his memory are his precious wife, Kay, a daughter, Melissa McCullough and husband, Jake; a step-son, T.K. Marshall, JR. and wife, Angie; two grandchildren, Skylar and Lane; two step-grandchildren, Josie and Kennedi; one brother, Raymond Baudier of Kingwood, Texas; two sisters, Renee Dupuy and husband, Harvey of Katy Texas, Barbara Bostick and husband, Mark of Longview, Texas; other relatives and host of friends.
A celebration of Life service will be held in his honor at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at West Side First Baptist Church in Greer's Ferry. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the church.
