August 29, 1944 - March 1, 2025

Kay Loyd (''Gran'' to many), 80, of Vilonia, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, March 1, 2025. She was born on August 29, 1944 in Conway, Arkansas to Faber and Viola Woodward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gwindle Loyd, great-grandson Hayden Loyd and her parents.

Gran was grace, love, strength, courage, kindness and patience personified. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and loved to travel near and far. She adored and was the absolute rock of her family. Sunday night suppers were always filled with great food and lots of laughter. Gran was a Godly woman who knew the importance of her church and she never hesitated to help others. She attended church faithfully and set a great example of what a Christian woman should be. Most of all, she loved being GRAN.

Kay is survived by her children, Connie Lacy (George) and Bryan Loyd; grandchildren, Amber and Matt Mannion, Michael and Alicia Loyd, Mark and Hannah Loyd, Jake Lacy and Audrey Loyd; Great grandchildren, Logan Loyd, Landon Mannion, Maddie Mannion, Lane Loyd, Mack Mannion, Peyton Loyd, Makenna Kay Loyd, Hatley Mae Loyd and Kolston Cleaver. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Woodward (Gail), Harold Woodward (Sharon) and many other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Liberty Church of Christ at 11:00am. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Conway.

Sweet Kay was the kindest of souls. She was faithful to serve others in our community and her family. I grieve the loss of her on this side of life, but I rejoice with her family in knowing that through her faith, love and the grace of God, our Father, that she is resting in paradise. To hurt no more, sweet Kay.
