May 9, 1936 - March 1, 2025
Jimmie Louise Jarman, 88, of Marion, AR, formerly of Barstow, CA, passed away March 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Jimmie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Otho "Wosie" Jarman; their infant son, Jimmy Earl Jarman; her parents, Quay and Odell Nabors and her sister, Maxine Roden. Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Martha "Betty" Myers and Rita Cavallaro-Johnson (Jimmy) and a host of wonderful and loving nieces, nephews and friends. Jimmie was a devoted and loving wife. They were married 47 years before the Lord called Wosie to his heavenly home. Jimmie loved cooking, sewing, gardening, reading and studying the Bible, working jigsaw puzzles and playing Scrabble. She delighted in spending time with her family. We know Jimmie is at peace and resting in the loving arms of Jesus. Until we meet again, the love and memories we have will comfort us. We are forever grateful that God chose us to be a part of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Cypress Avenue Baptist Church or any charity close to your heart.
RIP
Rita and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet sister. Many prayers, hugs, and love for you all. ~Jen
Jimmy was a sweet, and very faithful member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Barstow. That's where we meet her many years ago and we saw how faithful she was to her church, and family, and her friends. We were thankful that her loving family brought her to our church to visit one last time before she moved. We are thankful that she is in the arms of Jesus now. To her wonderful family we would like to say; when your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help you find your smile.
Lovely lady, had pleasure working at BCH and she was always happy. Peace to all.
Jimmy was my mom Elaine's boss at Barstow Community Hospital. My mom adored her. She was always nice to me when I would stop in the office to see my mom. She treated us like family. She was an amazing lady and i know she will be missed. I hope her and my mom are catching up in Heaven. My condolences to her family.
