Charles Fay Jefferson of Yellville, Arkansas passed away at the age of 92 on Friday, February 28, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on November 26, 1932 in Yellville, Arkansas to the late Fay and Ola (Hurst) Jefferson. Charles was a farmer by trade, he was best known for the amazing watermelons and cantaloupes he sold on the courthouse square with his wife Geneice. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Yellville and lifelong resident of the area. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
Charles is survived by his son, Randy ''Red'' Jefferson of Yellville, Arkansas; daughter, Dina Holmes of Yellville, Arkansas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geneice Jefferson; daughter, DeAnna; sisters, Wanda and Marilyn, brother Lucian and son in law, Gary Holmes.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas. Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Jack Jefferson officiating.
Services are in the care of Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

Want to express my deepest feelings for a classmate and friend. We spent so many years in school and now our classmates are almost gone. So few of us left. But I try to remember the good days. My Love goes out to the family, Charles was a great person and left his mark in this world.
