Holly Jean Berry

of Mountain View, AR

December 4, 1966 - February 26, 2025

Holly Jean Berry, age 58, of Fox passed away Thursday, February 26, 2025. She was born December 4, 1966 in Rolla, Missouri to Phillis Prock and the late James Hines.

Holly is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Randy Berry; two sons, Seth Berry (Shawna) of Clinton, Trey Berry (Megan) of Greers Ferry; daughter, Brooke Hopper (Chris) of McGehee; grandchildren, Katherine and Raegan Berry of Clinton, John Berry of Greers Ferry, Tristan, Isla, Ava and Mason Hopper of McGehee; two sisters, Debra Cantwell (Shane) of Titusville, FL and Kim Stacey of Shawnee, OK; mother, Phyllis and stepfather, Ted Prock of Kansas City, MO. Holly also leaves behind countless family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Hines; her beloved brother, Scott Hines and dear cousin, Les Hines.

Holly loved to cook for her family and was happiest when everyone was together. Food was her favorite way to show love. Just as she heaped extra love onto her family, Holly put ''extra, extra, extra'' butter in her dishes. Of course, this made everything she prepared especially delicious and inspired the running joke ''what are we having with our butter tonight''? She applied this same approach to most aspects of her life-Holly rarely skimped on the good stuff.

Holly had a fun and adventurous spirit and most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. Holly's excitement for trips often benefited friends and family in need of a travel agent and she frequently volunteered to help plan vacations. To Holly, it didn't matter whether or not she'd be on the trip. She wanted her loved ones to have the best adventures and generously spent hours of her time researching and planning the perfect vacation. Holly was a helper and her remarkable talent for creating memorable experiences will be sorely missed.

A visitation is scheduled for Monday, March 3, 2025 from 1-2 PM at Antioch General Baptist Church in Rushing, Arkansas. A memorial service will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 PM with Brothers Dylan Stewart and Coy Sutterfield officiating.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home of Mountain View is in charge of the arrangements.

Holly was one of the first people I ever met when I moved to Mountain View in 2003. I didn't see her often but when I did she always remembered who I was, like we'd seen each other yesterday. I'm so sorry for your loss. She will be missed by so many whose lives she touched. I feel special just to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
