Donna "Breezy" Mitchell Michau Hendershot

of Mabelvale, AR

June 4, 1948 - February 18, 2025

Donna ''Breezy'' Mitchell Michau Hendershot, 76, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away on February 18, 2025 in Little Rock.

Born on June 4, 1948 in Altus, Oklahoma to Denny and Lorene Mitchell, Donna graduated from Morrilton High School in 1966. She worked for Regions Bank for over 25 years before moving on to her most recent position as a dispatcher at Clearview Digital Imaging.

Donna's greatest joy in life was being a Nana. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, often driving them around in her beloved bright red VW bug. Donna was known for her delicious meals, especially her lasagna and chicken and dumplings. She found happiness on her back patio, where she could be found jamming to her favorite tunes, surrounded by family and friends who often gathered at her home.

A lover of the outdoors, Donna enjoyed swimming in her pool and caring for her dog, Sophie, who was her constant companion. Whether she was bowling, playing pool, watching hummingbirds or dancing, Donna embraced life with energy and joy.

Known for her calm demeanor and problem-solving skills, Donna was the go-to person whenever anyone needed help. She was the rock of her family, always putting others' needs before her own.

Donna is survived by her husband, Charles Hendershot, Jr.; son, Bryan Michau (Amber); daughter, Ayley Bridges; two daughters-in-law, Allison Michau and Cynthia Gaston; two brothers, Mike Mitchell (Nancy) and Wes Mitchell; sister, Judy White (Bill); mother, Lorene Mitchell; grandchildren, Gavin, Garrett, Luke, Isaac and Emily Michau, Loryn and Kaitlyn Hendershot, Kayla Bridges and Maysie Seeger (Cray) and two great-grandchildren, Liliana Seeger and Tenzlee Michau.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Terry Michau; sons, Randy C. Michau and Charles ''Buster'' Hendershot III; father, Hebert Denzel Mitchell and sister-in-law, Diane Mitchell.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Roller-Drummond Funeral Chapel, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Lance Goddard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.

Roy and I both loved Donna as did our daughters, especially Tina. They both shared a love of Betty Boop. We will miss her. I had the great pleasure of working with her for years, which was amazing. She and Charlie became very dear friends of ours.
Watching them together was always a joy. Donna's ability to love really did shine when she was with Charlie. As much as I will miss her, I can only imagine the devastating loss to Charlie and the rest of her family. RIP dear heart and God grant your loved ones peace and comfort.

Donna and I have been good friends as long as I can remember. She was an extremely caring and kind individual. If you were fortunate! enough to know Donna, you loved her. She was an excellent dancer and taught me how to do the twist in her living room. I have many fond memories of Donna that I will cherish until the day I die. Rest in peace my dear sweet beautiful friend.
