Harold L. Ausbrooks

of Damascus, AR

July 31, 1931 - February 22, 2025

Harold Lloyd Ausbrooks, 93, of Damascus, loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was born July 31, 1931 in Cato, Arkansas, the son of the late William Henry and Thelma Hogan Ausbrooks. Harold's passion was teaching high school mathematics and physics. He touched many lives with enduring memories as he mentored his extended family of kids. His desire for teaching was, at times, eclipsed by his hobby of fishing. Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church of Damascus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Ausbrooks; his son, Philip Ausbrooks and his brothers, Jack Ausbrooks and Charles Ausbrooks.

Survivors include Son, David Ausbrooks of Maumelle; Brother, Ralph of East End; Sister, Jeanene Shepherd of Conway; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 27th at 10:00 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.

Interment will follow at Copperas Spring Cemetery in Guy.

So kind so sweet. He could fix or knew how to fix anything. We will miss going to visit you and taking him some good cooking. He loved my cooking because I cook like mamaw. Mom said he was her buddy growing up. He would always take her either him when he would go anywhere.
