November 3, 1954 - February 16, 2025

Earl Wayne Dorris, 70, of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Earl was born on November 3, 1954, in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Earl enjoyed carpentry and took great pride in his work, until an injury sent him to retirement. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He got peace knowing he would soon be reunited with his son, E.J.

He is survived by his daughters; Stefanie (Gunnar) Wilson of Trumann, Arkansas, Candace (Rusty) Lawson of Fort Gibson, OK, his mother Norma Herndon, Erin Pitts of Mississippi, Mindy Cummings of Mississippi, brother James Bentley Herndon (Angela) of Cherokee Village, AR and 8 grandchildren; Cheyenne Needler of Trumann, AR, Hunter Wilson of Trumann, AR, Emery and Elijah Lawson of Fort Gibson, OK, Elijah, Chloe, Allison, Maliyah Dorris of West Memphis, AR.

He was preceded in death by his son Earl Wayne Dorris II (E.J.) and his stepfather Bobby Peak.

A special thanks to the caring staff at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice house for all they did to comfort him as he passed.
