On January 14, 1984, he married the love of his life, Kimberly Hicks and together they built a life rooted in family, faith, and farming. John dedicated his life to agriculture, farming rice, soybeans, milo and wheat, a passion he carried from childhood. John was hard working, kind, and had a giving heart. He was known for his sense or humor by those closest to him, and to all with his unwavering dedication to his family. He passed down his love of agriculture, his generosity, and a heart of gold to those who knew him.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents The Rev and Mrs. Stan Maxey and Mr. and Mrs. James C. Cooper; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.P and Louise Cooper of Parkin, Arkansas; brother, James P. (Jim) Cooper; and sister, JoAnn Gower.
