Carol A. Lauen, 94, born December 25, 1930 passed away from this earth on January 5, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Richard J. Lauen; her parents, Lloyd Van Buskirk and Annie Brass Van Buskirk and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children: daughter, Richelle Haney (Darrell); son, Ryland Lauen (Cyndi); grandchildren, Lynda Dickenson (David), John Haney and Melissa Gardner (Marcus); along with 8 great grandchildren.
Carol was a cosmetology instructor at the Beauty College, a beautician and a farmer's wife and homemaker. She enjoyed her garden, fruit trees, canning and sewing her own clothes. She loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren beyond measure and always looked forward to the opportunity to spend time with them.
There will be graveside service at Searcy Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Richelle, Ryland and family,
So sorry to hear of Mrs. Lauan passing. Richard spoke highly of her several times in my office or when we would be at the farm getting hay.
