October 3, 1930 - February 6, 2025
Mary Ellen Robison Branch of Yellville, left this physical world on February 6, 2025 to meet her Lord and Savior face to face. She is the daughter of Elbert Marion and Lillie Belle (Williams) Robison born on October 3, 1930. Mary was blessed with 94 years of life.
Mary grew up in Marion County and graduated from Yellville-Summit High in the class of 1949. After graduation she moved to Little Rock where she worked, married and raised her family in North Little Rock. The family were members of the Sixth & Izard Church of Christ and later Mary attended Levy Church of Christ.
After many years of being a homemaker, Mary worked as a secretary for Southern Farmers Association until her retirement. Shortly thereafter, Mary built a home and moved back to Yellville. She loved sharing her gift of hospitality by cooking for both friends and family, especially making everyone's favorite pie. One of her favorite roles was being Nana to her two grandchildren. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed being a part of a quilter's guild. The blessings of her quilts to family members will be treasured for years to come. Mary also worked for Home Health for several years serving those that needed help due to failing health. She was a longtime member of the Yellville Church of Christ and enjoyed many friendships there.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers, Ray, Robert, Noah, Cornie, (Vernon and Fred, infants), Warren, Clarence and Charles and two sisters, Edna Williamson and Katherine Ezell.
Mary is survived by her son, Alan Branch of North Little Rock; daughter, Sandra Mitchell of Granbury, Texas; two grandchildren, Courtney (Alex) Lincoln of Pflugerville, Texas and Zach (Andrea) Mitchell of Dallas, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Flippo's Carefree Living who went above and beyond to care for Mary during her final years and members of the Yellville Church of Christ who prayed, visited and sent cards. You are the hands and feet of Jesus. We also appreciate the loving hearts of the caregivers at Hospice of the Ozarks who extended dignity and compassion in her final months.
A Funeral Service will be held at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with Jeff Crawford officiating. Burial will be at Caney Cemetery immediately following the service.
