Aneida Joan Wells, 70, passed away on January 31, 2025. Aneida was born on March 20, 1954 to Harold and Leora Cripe in Logansport, IN. She was the fifth of six children, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. After her mother's passing, her father married Helen Cripe, who she knew as her mother due to her mother passing when she was so young. She married Lesslie Paul Wells on December 24, 1971 and they celebrated 53 years of marriage in December. She had 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Aneida worked for the Bryant Public Schools in the lunchroom and later at WalMart in Benton, AR. Aneida loved the Holidays and hosting large family gatherings, especially Christmas. She enjoyed most of all being surrounded by her loved ones. One of the most important things to her was spending time with her grandchildren.

Aneida was preceded in death by her mother, Leora Cripe; her father, Harold Cripe; Stepmother, Helen Cripe; daughter, Tonya Wells; brother, Wayne Cripe; Sister, Carol Jean DePoy and brother, Martin Cripe.

Aneida is survived by her husband, Lesslie Paul Wells; daughter, Lyjeana Swope; son, Chad Wells and grandchildren, Jacklyn Winifred, Joseph Winfrey, Grace Wells, Logan Wells and Delilah Wells.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Aneida's name.
