Barbara Joyce (Lowery) Morris passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025 in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 92. Joyce was born in St Louis, Missouri to Albert and Leo Lowery on October 3, 1932. She later moved with her family to Judsonia, Arkansas where she met and married Archie Leon Morris, also of Judsonia and son of Burnice and Rosie Morris. They were married for 65 years and had three children, Randal Eugene Morris (Lisa) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jerry Lee Morris (Martha) of Searcy, Arkansas and Jennifer Lee Ann Burrow (Todd) of Beebe, Arkansas.
Joyce dedicated her life to supporting Leon in his military career. They traveled extensively and lived all over the United States during his time in the Air Force. Upon his military retirement, they settled in Searcy to be near family.
Joyce was blessed with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The grandchildren include Sarah Greenslade (Walt), Nathan Morris (Cathy), Samuel Morris, Elisabeth Morris, Dustin Morris (Jess), Casey Morris, Alex Burrow (Anna Belle) and Emma Burrow; Great-grandchildren include Nora, Will, Gabriel, Hannah, Claire, Isabelle, Mylia, Kenzy and a baby girl, Ellie, due in May 2025.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, several beloved brothers, sisters and in-laws, as well as her dearly loved husband, Leon. A member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Joyce loved the Lord and is rejoicing in heaven now.

Services will be at Roller Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM for a visitation followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM. Burial at White County Memorial Gardens following the service. All friends and family are invited to attend.
